Making baby food used to overwhelm me. I thought it sounded like a long and laborious process and why do that when I can buy organic prepackaged food? I decided I needed to try it, especially since I bought the expensive Vitamix blender which, by the way, I am still loving. To my surprise the process was easy, it made a good amount and Clara LOVED it!
Here is what I did:
-2 sweet potatoes (boiled or cook as you like) they need to be soft
-breast milk (amount depends on the consistency you are going for). Could substitute with water.
Mix all ingredients in blender, then portion out into containers. Took me all of 15 minutes.
Here are other additions you can add to sneak in healthy food:
- could add hemp seeds (I would start with 1 teaspoon)
- could add spinach
- could add other fruit of choice
